The Annual Edgewood Heritage Festival takes place among the grounds of the Heritage Park outdoor museum and the second Saturday each November. The park encompasses over 20 authentically restored and furnished structures representing rural life in East Texas in 1900.
In 2008, many new wonderful activities were added, and we will be updating our new calendar very soon.
Monday, November 3, 2008 marked the first Heritage Golf Classic which began at 9:00 a.m. at the Van Zandt County Country Club.
Thursday evening, November 6, 2008 was the debut of the Heritage Festival Dance which took place at the Edgewood Civic Center.
On November 8, 2008 the annual Heritage Festival began! Set among the log cabins and park, visitors enjoyed Texas music, arts and crafts, a vintage car show, CASI Chili cook-off, Mr & Mrs Claus, children's area, quilt show and a sidewalk art sale, while enjoying food and entertainment. Located in Edgewood, Texas at Highway 80 and 859 or 7 miles north of Canton, Texas. Admission is Free with activities from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
