The Edgewood Historical Society will host its annual pet show during the Heritage Festival November 14, 2009. The entry fee is $ 5.00 and registration begins at 1:00 p.m. in the Village by the Bandstand. Judging will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m.
CLASSES:
-
Dogs under 10 inches
-
Dogs 10 to 20 inches
-
Dogs over 20 inches
-
Cats / Kittens
-
Small farm animals (rabbits, small goats, ducks, etc.)
-
Other pets (fish, pet birds, pocket pets, reptiles, etc.)
-
Costume Contest - all species together
RULES:
- All pets must be on a leash or in a cage at all times.
- All pets are required to be in good health and must be vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper and hepatitis (if applicable for that breed).
- All dogs and cats 16 weeks and over must have a current rabies certificate from a veterinarian on hand at the pet show.
- Animals showing any aggression towards another animal or contestant will be asked to leave the show.
- Judges decision is final.
- Show committee reserves the right to combine classes dependent upon participation.
- Entry fee is $5.00
- Awards will be given in each class.
Entry forms may be picked up at East Texas Veterinary Supply in Edgewood or at The First National Bank of Edgewood. Forms will be available the day of the show at the registration table, OR you can click and download a form from our website.
